![]() FIRE COMBAT RECEIVES AN
ORDER FOR MULTIPLE DEFENDER ONE SYSTEMS Fire Combat (A Division of Sensor Electronics) received an order for eight of the Defender One deployable fire suppression systems. Eventually, The Defender Ones will be onsite protecting US Special Forces aviation equipment in a top-secret location on the African continent. The video demonstrates releasing pressure (only air and nitrogen) from the unit after a system pressure test. In normal operation, the unit dispenses AFFF to safely extinguish any fire. In the demonstration video, the technician uses a propane torch to simulate a fire to trip the optical fire detector. The optical fire “sees” the fire and activates the system. The rotating turret at the front of the Defender One can be set for various sweep patterns to protect and extinguish priceless security aircraft equipment in case of a hanger. |
