1. First start by unscrewing the current SEC Millenium barrel. Do this by turning the barrel counterclockwise while holding the rest of the unit in place. Hold onto the barrel, it will need to be reinstalled later.
2. Next, use the flat head screw driver to remove the screw on the bottom part of the housing used to hold the screen in place. Hold on to this screw as it will be used to install the longer drip screen.
3. Once the screw is removed, remove the current screen by simply pulling down on it.
4. Then the new screen can be installed by pushing it all the way up until the screen is stopped by the housing (just below the threads). Make sure the side of the screen with the notch is facing the bottom.
5. The drip screen will need to be secured using the flat head screw. There is a slot in the screen that will match up with the screw hole. Turn the screen until the hole is visible through the slot and use the flat head screwdriver to secure the screw into the hole. See figure 1 for installed drip screen.
6. The rain barrel can now be installed by screwing it clockwise where the old barrel used to be. Make sure to screw the rain barrel tight.
7. Now reinstall the old barrel by screwing it on the threads clockwise until it cannot go any further. The original barrel is used to help keep rain barrel snug against the Millenium cap and itself so make sure it is tight.

The SEC Millenium rain barrel is now installed. See figure 2 for an example of the finished installation.
